30 Day Carryover - Ends 9/17/2025
In the state of Indiana, children who receive free or reduced meal benefits during the previous school year are eligible for those same benefits up to 30 operating days into the next school year. The carryover begins on the first operating day of school. If the household does not submit a NEW free/reduced lunch application during the 30 day carryover period the student’s lunch code will change to paid on the 31st operating day and any free/reduced benefits will no longer apply to that student.
This year the 30 day carryover period for students at Oak Hill Schools ends on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. If a NEW application has not been submitted by 9/17/2025, the student’s lunch code will change to Paid on Thursday, September 18th, and the additional benefits of free/reduced status will also stop, including college testing discounts.
Lunch applications can be submitted on your Skyward Family Access account by clicking on the Food Service Applications tile. Please note, using a smartphone to complete the application is not supported. If needed, you may access a computer at any of our five schools to complete the application. Additional guidance can be found here or you can contact Dana South, Food Service Director, at danaso@ohusc.k12.in.us with any questions.
REMINDER TO ALL OH PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Be sure to regularly check your child’s account balances on Skyward and pay any outstanding balances as soon as possible.
QUESTIONS? If you have any questions about your child’s lunch account, please email Dana South, OH Food Service Director, or 765-395-3341, ext. 6018.
