2017-18 School Year Information

Please read the following important information for a successful beginning to the 2017-18 school year:

  1. If you still haven’t completed school registration for 2017-18, please do so as soon as possible prior to the first student day on Tuesday, August 8. We need this in order to update our records and class lists. Instructions are located at http://www.ohusc.k12.in.us. If you need technical help to complete registration, please contact us at registration@ohusc.k12.in.us or call 765-395-3341, ext. 2114.

  1. Oak Hill Open Houses for Students and Families:  Elementary open houses will be Monday, August 7 - Converse from 5-6 p.m., Sweetser from 6-7 p.m., and Swayzee from 7-8 p.m. Junior High and High School open houses will take place Tuesday, August 8 from 6-7:30 p.m.

  1. Your child’s teacher information is now available on Skyward Family Access. You may access teacher name through the Schedule tab.

  1. If you still need to pay your textbook fees, you may make payments online using eFunds by logging into your Skyward Family Access account, clicking Fee Management, then the Make Payment link. You will need to create an eFunds account the first time you use the site. If you’d like to pay by check, cash, or credit card, you may stop by the Administration Office Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Payment may also be mailed to Oak Hill Administration at PO Box 550, Converse, IN 46919.

  1. If you would like to apply for free and reduced lunch and did not complete an application as part of your registration, you will need to log into your Skyward Family Access account, click Food Service tab on the left, then the Applications blue link at  the top. You will start a new application, and our food service director will get back to you whether you were approved for benefits. If you have questions, please email our food service director at marcieke@ohusc.k12.in.us or call 765-395-3341, ext. 2115.

  1. All transportation should be accurate in Skyward at this time. If you indicated a change was needed in the registration process, we have made that change. We suggest logging into Skyward prior to the first day of school, click the Busing tab and checking for transportation accuracy.

    1. If you need more than one transportation scenario, Skyward will only indicate the main one. The transportation staff is aware of the other needs. If you want to be sure, contact Cindy at central office by calling 765-395-3341, option 6 or emailing cindyro@ohusc.k12.in.us.

    2. All kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students will wear lanyards with their transportation listed on a card. They will wear these the first week or so in order for an adult working at the school to assist, if necessary.

  1. To find a copy of the school supply list, visit http://www.ohusc.k12.in.us, then click on the Schools tab at the top of the page to navigate to your child’s school. A link to the school supply lists are located in the left menu on the school’s website.
