The Board of Trustees of
the Oak Hill United School
Corporation met in the
Administration Office on Tuesday,
June 12, 2007. All Board Members
were present. Also present were
Superintendent James W. Smith,
Business Manager Sandy London,
Recording Secretary Norma Sweeten,
Joel Martin, Bill Bishop, Terry
Renbarger, Bill Bishop, Valree
Kinch, Greg Perkins, and Bob King.
There was no news media present.

Mr.
Middlesworth, President, called the
meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

A. Consideration
of Revision to Rainy Day Fund
Resolution
Mr. Smith explained that
the Rainy Day Fund Resolution states
that it could be used for
“unforeseen expenditures“. The
salary and benefit expenses for the
position of the Assistant
Superintendent from July 1, through
December 31, 2007 are “unforeseen
expenditures” and therefore can be
paid from this fund.

B. Consideration
of Permission to Raise Funds
Mr.
Smith stated that the renovation
budget includes funds for outdoor
signage. Bob King, representing the
three local Lions Clubs, proposed a
plan to provide additional funds to
offset the cost of a more expensive
sign by selling inscribed bricks for
at least $100 each.
The
high school cheerleaders asked
permission to hold a car wash on
June 16th.
