Meningococcal Disease Info for Parents

New Immunization Requirements for 2010-2011 School Year 

1. All preschool, and kindergarten  students will be required to have 2 doses of varicella vaccine, or a history of chickenpox disease (written confirmation by a physician is required)
2. All 6^th-12^th grade students will be required to have 2 doses of varicella vaccine, or a history of chickenpox disease (written confirmation by a parent is acceptable for this age range)
3. All 6^th-12^th grade students will be required to have 1 dose of tetanus-diptheria-acellular pertussis vaccine (Tdap) given on or after the 10^th birthday.
4. All 6^th-12^th grade students will be required to have 1 dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4)
